They haven’t had to solely rely on their duplication ability, so they haven’t quite refined it like Ditto’s species has. They’ve perfected the art of teamwork and found style within their duplication.Įcho Echo’s species has their duplication ability, but they also largely fall back on their sonic sound waves. They’ve had no choice but to perfect this one unique ability because it’s all they have. I think Ditto’s species is more creative and strategic with their duplicating because it’s all they have to rely on. Echo echo will create 50 copies and just completely engulf an enemy. Echo Echos tend to use their duplication abilities to overpower and overwhelm. Ditto also uses his duplication powers more creatively than Echo Echo.Įcho Echos kind of feel more like robotic clones. Dittos seem like they see each other as friends and they have a banter (think of actual twins, triplets, quadruplets, etc.). They have completely different personalities and styles of fighting/duplication.ĭittos tend to really work together and play off of each other. I hate it when people say he’s useless and just a lame version of Echo Echo. He can act like a troll in front of an enemy and his abilities are cool and he's one of the aliens I would like to transform into if I had the Omnitrix so that my life wouldn't have to be boring and I just could throw several parties with my clones and have endless fun, LOL. I really like him for his very cute design and also he's the second funniest alien (after Rath) in my opinion and should have appeared way more often than he ever had. Ditto is the prey of the Panuncian, as Panuncians also have the ability to clone themselves with no limit. It seems that this requires more power from the Omnitrix than normal, as seen later when he could only transform into Ugrade for a fraction of the normal time.

If the Dittos cannot agree on one plan, an argument might break out between them. Normally, Ditto compensates by overwhelming his opponent with sheer force of numbers. Due to the fact that each Ditto is only about as strong, fast and has the reach of a small human child, this puts him at a disadvantage when facing off against a bigger, stronger foe. Weaknesses: Ditto's clones share a link with each other, making it so that if one Ditto is hurt, all the others feel the same pain and if one Ditto is killed, the others are automatically killed as well, thus negating the ability to form an army of clones.
